The Three "Macronutrients" for True Health

You don't need a miracle supplement for true health. What you need are three core "macronutrients": a plan, discipline, and consistency. Let's dive in!
The Three "Macronutrients" for True Health
You don’t need the next MIRACLE SUPPLEMENT.

You need:
Plan: Outline your health goals and steps to achieve them.
Discipline: Stick to your plan, even on tough days.
Consistency: Turn health into a daily practice.

That’s the only way to achieve TRUE HEALTH.

1. A Plan: Charting Your Course

Imagine a sailboat drifting aimlessly. It's moving, sure, but it's going nowhere. That's like us without a plan – busy but not productive. The first "macronutrient" for health is having a clear destination and a roadmap to get there.

My Planning Framework

Think of your life as four quadrants:

  1. Physical/Body
  2. Psychological/Mind
  3. Spirituality/Relationships
  4. Career

Here's what to do: Take an A4 paper, divide it into four, and label each quadrant. In each, set one or two achievable goals for the next 12 weeks. Why 12 weeks? It's a manageable timeframe, and you can do four rounds in a year!

Make your goals Specific, Measurable, and Realistic. For example, instead of vaguely wanting to "lose weight," aim to lose 6 kg in 12 weeks. Break it down further: That's 500 grams a week, which means a daily calorie deficit of 642. Similarly, if you want to read more, set a goal of 17 pages a day from a 500-page book.

2. Discipline: The Wind in Your Sails

Change is tough. Our brains resist it.

That's why the second macronutrient, discipline, is crucial.

You must show up every day, no matter the weather or your mood. It's not about grand gestures; it's about small, daily acts of commitment.

No one else can do it for you.

3. Consistency: Staying the Course

Consistency is our third macronutrient.

Think of it this way: A single salad won't make you fit, just as one donut won't ruin your diet.

It's what you do consistently that shapes your health.

Every day, you'll face resistance. But remember, the more you stick to your new habits, the easier they become, and the old, unhelpful ones start to fade.

Charting New Waters

So, are you ready to steer your life in a new direction? Take the helm! Spend the next few days working on your four quadrants. Get specific, make your plan, and commit to daily, disciplined actions.

Remember, tough choices today lead to an easier life tomorrow. The opposite is also true. Make the hard choices now, and watch how your life transforms.
